FAQ

Common questions about UGC Next.

These answers explain the launch model, commercial workflow and platform expectations. Account-specific questions belong in support.

Is UGC Next an open marketplace?

Not at launch. UGC Next uses a managed sourcing model. Brands submit a brief, we source suitable creators and present a private shortlist. The open self-service marketplace can be introduced later when the creator network has enough depth.

Are the creator examples on the website real members?

No. Any fictional product-demonstration profiles are clearly labeled as example creators. Real creators are presented to clients only when they have been sourced or onboarded for the platform.

What does the 12% brand fee cover?

The standard launch model adds a 12% platform fee to the agreed creator amount. It supports managed sourcing, shortlist workflow, contracting records, collaboration, payment-state tracking, delivery, support and platform operations.

Do creators pay a platform commission?

The creator platform fee is 0% at launch. Payment-provider, tax or banking effects can still depend on the creator account and country.

Is the payment literally escrow?

We use the wording Secure Payment Protection and funds held securely until completion as the intended model. We only use the legal term escrow after the connected provider and legal structure formally qualify.

Can a brand request revisions?

Yes, within the revision allowance and scope agreed for the job. Revision requests and later versions should remain attached to the delivery record.

Who owns the content?

Ownership and licensing depend on the agreed rights. Organic usage, paid advertising, territory, duration, raw footage and exclusivity should be specified rather than assumed.

Can I hire the same creator again?

Yes. Repeat hiring is an important part of the managed model. A creator who has already performed well for a brand can become a preferred candidate for future briefs.

How do support tickets work?

Signed-in users choose a category and priority, explain the issue and optionally link the ticket to a request or job. The owner/admin can reply, change the status and keep the conversation in one place.

How do I start?

Brands should submit a creator brief. Creators should apply to the private talent network. Existing users can use the dashboard and support center for ongoing work.
